This code of behaviour is written to ensure all junior and intermediate members can enjoy the use of Wicklow Tennis club in a safe and fun way. View Policy
During the summer, the club provides supervision for summer fun tennis for junior members. A nominal €2 is required to participate. For those with more than two children taking part, the max per day is €5. Children aged 8 and under are to be accompanied by an adult, and are not to be left alone
Juniors and Seniors have equal rights to courts until 6pm. Junior members should be accompanied on the club grounds by a senior member after 6pm. A junior member, aged 14+ may play until 9pm on Saturdays and Sundays with a senior member, or with a promoted junior (see point below). In the event that a
Juniors are provided with an access card to the club when they are 10 years old. Please note that this card does not allow them to access the clubhouse. The clubhouse is open to juniors when there is supervision by a senior member.
As with senior members, juniors should be respectful of each other, the club and club property. Take a look at the Club’s Code of Conduct on Court – it’s a great way to learn about playing fairly and being a good sport on and off court. Everything you need to approach your game with confidence
