WICKLOW MONTESSORI WARM UP EVENTS FOR THE JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
In the week leading up to the Junior Championships, Tuesday August 2nd to Friday August 5th, we will be hosting 2 additional new championship events. This will give players a chance to get some practice in before Championship week begins but also allows players who may not be available Championship Week to enter an event.
HANDICAPPED DOUBLES EVENT
Children may enter with their own partner, mixed or of the same gender, or ask the junior supervisors to find one for them. The junior supervisors will then assign a handicap to each partnership, based on ability, and this will be used throughout the event. This event will only have 2 age categories, U18 and U14, but children in the U16 age category may enter the U18 event and children in the U12 age category may enter the U14 event.
HOW TO ENTER
ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED.
The finals of these events will take place during the week of August 2nd to August 5th but presentation of prizes will take place on Junior Championship Finals Day, Saturday August 13th, as these are championship events.
Entry for these events will be €4 per event.
Please state whether your child is looking for a partner in the space where you would write the child’s partner’s name.
Entry for these events will close Wednesday July 27th. No late entries will be accepted as the junior supervisors will have to begin assigning handicaps and scheduling the events.
