Your Club – Run By You

Wicklow Tennis Club is run by its members and we are always looking for people to help out – from keeping the club grounds tidy to keeping tournaments running smoothly. It’s great to have new people on the various committees – fresh ideas and fresh voices bring energy so don’t be shy about putting your name forward! There are plenty of committees that need help – junior, league, tournament for example. Interested? Let the club captain know you’ve a few hours to spare and you’ll be pointed in the right direction.

The Executive Committee

The EC is voted annually by the members of the tennis club. Prior to the AGM, in January, members can put their names forward for the committee, once they have been proposed and seconded by another member of the club. The committee is made up of the president, vice president, captain, secretary and treasurer, plus a maximum of six ‘ordinary’ members.

If you have any suggestions for the club or have any concerns, please let a member of the EC know or alternatively the best way to get in touch is to send an email to secretary@wicklowtennisclub.ie. All correspondence is looked at the monthly meetings.
