HOUSEKEEPING

Staying at the Club
Children may not leave the tennis club grounds without permission from a parent/guardian in writing,  Please do not ask the supervisors for their personal numbers any contact with the club is via the club mobile only 085 1156051.

Mobile Phones
During the summer programme, children are not permitted to use mobile phones. If they bring their phones to the club, they are asked to hand them over to the supervisors for safekeeping in the office. There is no necessity for them to carry their phone, parents can contact the club, or their child can use the club phone to call home if needed.

Tuck Shop
A tuck shop will be open once a day. There will be no fizzy drinks available to purchase, however there will be cordial which will be free of charge. The children are encouraged to bring their own packed lunch if staying at the club for several hours.  CASH only please and a small amount of money too, no large notes.

Under 9’s 
For reasons of child safety, children 8 and under should not be left at the club without adult supervision.  Parents/minders are welcome to go into the clubhouse and have a tea/coffee, work on laptop etc parents will be asked to accompany children to the bathroom if needed, the Supervisors cannot leave the courts.

Drop off and collection times
There will be no supervision outside of the hours 10.30am to 2.30pm

Bins
There are bins on each of the courts, in the clubhouse, beside the outdoor area and in the car park, there is no excuse for any rubbish to be found anywhere on the courts or surrounding areas.

Chewing Gum
Chewing Gum is strictly prohibited both on and off the courts.

Tennis Balls
Tennis balls will be provided for the organised Fun Tennis programmes.  Outside of this, all children are required to bring their own tennis balls, clearly marked, to the club each day. Red, Orange, Green and Yellow balls are available to purchase at the club.

Marking of Items
Parents are reminded to mark all items of clothing and accessories to include water bottles, lunch boxes, racket covers, rackets, hoodies etc it makes it so much easier for us to return items to the children when they can be identified.

Caring for furniture
Furniture should be treated the same way as it is at home, with respect.

Wifi
The children will not be given the Wifi password if they request it, they are at the club primarily to play tennis but they can also avail of table tennis, pool, cards, board games etc

Car Park
The car park is out of bounds from 10.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.  This is to ensure safety for all children at all times.  Please allow time to park and walk to the club if you need to accompany your child. Exception – Coaches, Junior Supervisor and admin.

Weather
Please ensure your child/children wear the appropriate clothing to the club whether it is a wet day or a hot sunny day.

Bank Holiday – Monday 5th August
There are no activities on this day.

Junior Championships
The Wicklow Montessori Primary School championships will run from Monday 18th to Saturday 23rd August inc.  We will have an Under 8’s boy’s and girls round robins during this week too.  More information will be circulated nearer the time.

Medical Notes 
If your child/children has/have any medical conditions that the SupervisorsCoaches need to be made aware of please download this form, complete it and return it to the office.

The Graded Tournament will take place 28th July to 1st August.  Red ball tennis will continue during this time.

We hope the children enjoy their time at the club over the next 8 weeks.
